ABOUT:            Given the recent passage of SJR13 by the Nevada Senate, a bill that would allow for marriage equality statewide, The Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas are keeping the momentum going with a unique event supporting marriage equality.  Every five minutes for three hours, an LGBTQ or straight ally couple will read vows during their respective commitment, vow renewal and faux-ceremonies, reflecting a powerful message of solidarity for an equal and just future.  While none of the ceremonies are legally binding, each will represent a unique perspective and are a testament to the cultural shift in attitudes about marriage equality.
